We’ve visited this restaurant four or five times and have been pleased each time, with no complaints at all. The ambiance is upscale and urban. The daily specials are always a delightful surprise. We’ve become hooked on the homemade blue cheese dressing. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, and they’re very accommodating with special requests. We've recommended the large dining area to all our friends. View all feedback.

an interesting place with a lot of potential! a couple of things: we had a waiting person who was not very welcoming, and hovered while I filled her tip amount (that was quite unpleasant). eating was usually quite good, but even for a salt lover like me the cadry had so much salt in a tomato sauce, it was unpleasant. The breakfast and brunch here are fantastic, even better than before. The food is always fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoy the muffins and the atmosphere. The brunch offerings never let me down. This is my favorite spot to take visitors in the city. I do wish the new server would get the hang of using the tablets for orders, as they often appear confused. There have also been a few occasions where I've made a reservation only to see the server seat a large party at my table. I think having a dedicated host would help with that. Other than these minor issues, everything is excellent.
What a fantastic restaurant! We stopped for the evening at Hotel Kirkley and decided to try the Great Room. I was surprised to find that it wasn’t crowded at all. They have an excellent selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, including their own home-grown salads. Even the simplest dishes were bursting with flavor. I was truly impressed with this place. The hydroponic growing bins for the herbs are a nice touch. I will definitely stay at the hotel again just to enjoy this restaurant. The Great Room truly lives up to its name!

I scratched the salt as I could, and let the waitress know, but she offered nothing free or reduced the price of the teller on the last bill. also the toilets for the restaurant are not marked what is strange and not good, even outside. it seems like this place could be a real hit, but the staff, including the cook, needs improvement.
I have no idea how this place got 4 stars!! Well I give this place a 2 stars for the fact the inside was nice and staff was very helpful! Also my family enjoyed there steak and fries and they enjoyed their meal. The food was served in a timely matter and appearance looked great! Now the bad! First pricing does match portion sizes! 7.95 for salad with lettuce and dressing is extremely high and amount of lettuce was very small! I had the cod and it was so salty I could not eat it! I basically ate the side item and that was it! I went to Sheetz to eat something for supper! As I write this review I still taste the salt in my mouth! STAY away from the cod unless you love pure salt, because I could not even tell it was a piece of fish! As a fellow Lynchburger I will not return
