Awesome local eatery on Lynchburg square. The pork burger will not disappoint! Hand made shakes are awesome, I had the Bananas Foster milk shake and was not disappointed! I wish I could have tried a pie, but I?ll have to wait until my next venture to Lynchburg. View all feedback.
What Jimmy Moon doesn't like about Lynchburg Cafe:
Friendly waitress and good sweet tea. That's about it. Cold burger bun, precooked like warm patties, soggy not fresh fries... It's food, it's eatable but don't go there to be wowed. View all feedback.
My son, my mom, and I visited Lynchburg to tour the distillery, and afterward, we planned to have dinner at Miss Mary Bobo's. Unfortunately, the staff was rude and wouldn't allow us to wait for a table since our reservation was almost two hours away. We left feeling quite disappointed. We decided to give Lynchburg Cafe a try, and it did not let us down! I ordered a fried bologna sandwich with curly fries, while my mom and son both had burgers. Our food was perfectly cooked and incredibly fresh. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!
The waitress was friendly and the sweet tea was good, but that’s where the positives end. The burger bun was cold, the patties tasted pre-cooked and merely warm, and the fries were soggy and not fresh. The food is edible, but don’t expect to be impressed.
We dined there yesterday while visiting the Jack Daniels Distillery and exploring Lynchburg's town square. The food and service were excellent. I enjoyed a delicious homemade chicken salad on a croissant, and my husband couldn't stop raving about his whiskey burger. We will definitely be back soon!
Fantastic local restaurant in Lynchburg Square! The pork burger is truly exceptional and you won’t be disappointed. The handmade shakes are amazing—I tried the Bananas Foster milkshake and it exceeded my expectations! I wish I could have tasted a pie, but I guess I’ll just have to save that for my next visit to Lynchburg.
On May 27, 2021, I visited a charming, family-owned restaurant located in the historic square of downtown Lynchburg, TN, just a short walk from the Jack Daniel's Distillery. Keep in mind that they have tourist hours, so they close earlier during off-peak times. Their breakfast menu features classic Southern-style dishes, including eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits with gravy, hash browns, omelets, and pancakes. For lunch, they offer a variety of options such as platters, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. Overall, it's a fantastic little restaurant—definitely home to some of the best burgers in Lynchburg, TN.
