I recently dined at El Camino for the first time, and it quickly became a favorite of mine. While I noticed that prices have increased by $0.90 per item and they now charge for chips and salsa, I still believe it’s worth it. The chips and salsa were a fantastic start to the meal—the salsa was mild, but they offered two different hot sauces, allowing guests to customize the heat to their liking.

What Alf Bernier doesn't like about El Camino:
Frankly, it used to be aight, but isn't that the story with most restaurants? Start strong, collapse into apathy. Here's a question: Why are the gorditas a grease fest??? There's no good answer there so sit back down, son--try the gorditas at Taqueria for comparison. Also, the torta has a strong flavor of ... Ketchup????? I know, I don't make this stuff up I just order and hope for the best, people. But weird, man, j... View all feedback.
Wow! Fresh and delicious! Born and raised Texan here and that was the freshest, most delicious salsa I can remember. Gorditas and shrimp quesadillas were both excellent. We will absolutely be coming back!

The chips and salsa were a fantastic start to the meal—the salsa was mild, but they offered two different hot sauces, allowing guests to customize the heat to their liking. I was particularly impressed with the vibrant flavors and freshness of the dishes I tried. The entrees were delicious, bursting with flavor, and the meal was nicely complemented by a small salad drizzled with a flavorful brown dressing. Also, the pupusas were excellent! Overall, it was a delightful dining experience, and I’m looking forward to returning soon.
The food here is incredible! It's definitely not your everyday meal; everything was better in almost every way—fresh and quick. The fries were piping hot and fresh! It was by far the best breakfast we've had in years; we tried the Honduran breakfast. The restaurant is a charming little spot by the roadside, and you might easily miss it if you're not looking for it. I highly recommend trying it yourself; you won't be disappointed!
I visited this restaurant a few years ago and was a bit disappointed, but I returned tonight and was thoroughly impressed! The Al Pastor had amazing flavor, and the portion sizes were just right—not huge, but definitely satisfying. Plus, it was much more affordable than many other places. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back! Also, their chips and salsas were fantastic!
I've been to Mexico many times and this is the only food that makes me think I'm in Mexico, and I've been to hundreds of restaurants around the world. Nothing comes close to this place. Absolutely love this place! La Caretta should be ashamed to call themselves Mexican, it's closer to cat food.
