Good food and fast service. The waiter catered to us pretty frequently, and listened to our needs. Priced appropriately Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Santa Fe Omelet
This diner experience evokes a spectrum of opinions, ranging from delightful to disappointing. While some patrons rave about hearty breakfast options like chicken and waffles and the All American Skillet, others lament over exorbitant prices and inconsistent dish quality. Complaints of salty gravy and unwelcome charges for take-out containers tarnish the overall impression. However, friendly and attentive service often shines through, with staff praised for creating a welcoming atmosphere. For those seeking a consistent breakfast spot, this diner may appeal, though many advise exploring alternative eateries to avoid potential pitfalls.

The food was pretty good, but I felt it was a bit overpriced. What really bothered me, though, was the 25-cent charge that was added to my bill for a custom item. Since I hadn’t customized anything, I asked the waitress about it. She apologized and explained that it was for the take-out container because I was taking my leftovers home. I then spoke to an older man at the register, whom I believe was the owner’s father, and he mentioned that this is common practice. My husband and I frequently visit various diners in the East Bay, like East Bay Diner, Golden Reef Diner, and Sherwood Diner, and I can confidently say that NONE of them charge for take-out containers. I told him that while they may have gotten my quarter, they have lost a customer because I won’t be coming back. His response was rather unpleasant. It’s not surprising that the place was nearly empty during lunch! Also, although it’s a small establishment, the two waitresses were quite loud and seemed to be enjoying themselves, chatting and laughing with each other.
Whenever I'm in the area, I love to drop in for a delicious Irish breakfast, a tasty burger, fresh turkey, salads, or a gyro, paired with the best cup of coffee. Our waitress, Nicole, is wonderfully friendly, and we always request her service. The food is consistently excellent!
My family, a friend, and I went to this restaurant for breakfast. When we arrived, the place was almost empty, but it took around 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Sadly, the home fries were flavorless and undercooked, and the toast was cold and tough. I would suggest opting for the McDonald's down the street instead—at least their food is fresh and served hot.
Don't call it the LYNBROOK DINER cause there is CDC a LYNBROOK DINER. This place is called LYNBROOK EATS which is like a diner but more cozier like a local comfy eatery. Everything serves out like it's your sister's kitchen made with love care. Honestly sometimes slow like your sister's kitchen too but their busboy staff is quick to pour out more coffee or water. Great breakfast menu which was the time I went with classics and some modern day twists to all we know as delicious breakfasts. I plan to go again soon cause I heard so much about their burgers. Yes they said they are really good. Then I will go at dinnertime too. Well worth the revisits. My only suggestion is speed up the servers they need some of their delicious java! I'll be back! Happy eating and I'll see you around the tables but most likely I will take a cozy booth!
Stop in for quick lunch. Sat at counter. Ordered a Spinach Feta omelet, soft not dried out, with rye toast dark and dry butter on side. Delivered the omelet, well. Asked 2 or 3 Times if I wanted butter on the toast. Finished omelet. Never got my toast. Went to pay $13.04 and gave him $20.05. Had the nerve to ask if I wanted the penny. I guess they’re Toast now. I’m done.

They love this place! we often go. I had no bad meal there. try the chicken and the lumberjack breakfast. both are very fillable. the chicken is very well seasoned. the personal is also super friendly. they are ideal for breakfast and dinner. (the palest had lunch there, but I can't imagine it's bad). love goes there!
Lynbrook Restaurant truly deserves a solid 5-plus stars! I decided to visit after having a few unsatisfactory experiences at another local diner. The restaurant is very clean, and our waitress was outstanding—she was friendly, professional, and genuinely funny! The service was excellent all around. The owner even stopped by to check on us and see if everything was satisfactory. I will definitely be coming back!
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I was charged a $3.90 fee for using my credit card, which I found quite inconvenient and had to bring up with the staff. The whole process felt unprofessional, especially since my daughter was served half an hour before my son and I received our food. We ended up sitting there hungry and had to take our meals home, which felt like a waste after leaving the restaurant. On a brighter note, the waitress did apologize for the delay, which I appreciated. It's great that the restaurant is busy and profitable, but as a customer, I felt unsatisfied with the experience.
Absolutely terrible experience. The $18 for eight chicken wings—vaccinated or not—doesn't even include tax. I also factored in an extra $3 for pita bread and a $20 Greek salad. While the food was decent, the prices are just way too high. I recommend trying a different diner located right across from this one instead.

Lynbrook Eats absolutely deserves a 5-star rating! After some disappointing visits to a different local diner, I decided to give this place a shot, and I'm so happy I did. The restaurant is immaculate, and our waitress Nichole was amazing—friendly, engaging, professional, and humorous. The service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. The owner even stopped by to see how we were doing, which added a lovely personal touch. I will definitely be returning!
The restaurant was spotless and welcoming. The food matched our orders perfectly and was incredibly tasty. Our waitress was courteous and approachable. We're excited to have discovered a new breakfast place and will certainly be back again!
I really adore this restaurant! We go often, and I've never had a disappointing meal. Make sure to try the chicken and waffles and the lumberjack breakfast; both are very hearty. The chicken is seasoned to perfection. The staff is super friendly, too. It’s a great choice for breakfast and dinner (I haven't tried lunch there, but I can't imagine it would be any less wonderful). I'm very fond of this place!
A diner find! If you didn't know it was there, you would drive right past it! A cute, smaller Diner with excellent service!! Reasonable, very clean, very friendly, excellent food. We'll be back.

I ordered the California omelette, and I must say it was quite tasty. However, my wife tried the biscuits and sausage gravy, and unfortunately, it was really disappointing. The gravy was overly salty, the eggs were overcooked, and despite the menu indicating crumbled sausage, we received slices of sausage covered in gravy, which was unusual. While I enjoyed my dish, hers left a lot to be desired. Would I consider returning to this restaurant? Likely not.
