I have already been there a couple of times and was never dissapointed. We had an aperitif with the board of our sports club. Upon request the owner agreed to prolong the opening hours. The aperitif was very tasty and nicely presented, the vine was just fabulous and the atmosphere was very cozy and familiar. The owner is very lovely and super friendly. Not many people know it, but definitely one of the nicest cafés in Lucerne.
A friend was visiting from out-of-town which prompted lunch out. Taburetti was recommended to me and I was not only not disappointed, the food was fantastic. I had no problems being accommodated as a vegetarian with a luscious home-made vegetarian Quiche with salad and Ginger tea, all for the extraordinary price of CHF 20. - unheard of in a city like Luzern where everything is top dollar.A gracious owner, luscious, well-priced food in a small,centrally-located establishment - what more could one ask for. I'll definitely be back for no other reason than it was delicious.
