The Crazy Cactus is one of maybe 3 restaurants in Lucerne that serve Mexican food. The atmosphere is great and they serve a killer mango margarita! Those are the positives. The negatives include Mexican fare that doesn't exactly taste like American Mexican (the fajitas, for...instance, have a sweet tang to them) and it is incredibly expensive. Lucerne is expensive anyway, but you will pay at least 28-35chf for an entree. The appetizers are pretty standard deep fried things. Service is good. I would prefer a drink and appetizers visit next time.

Although it cannot compete with American Tex-Mex food, it is definitely a nice place for a margarita and some snacks (even though a bit expensive).
