We spotted the restaurant while exploring the city, stayed nearby, and, unable to secure a table without a reservation, booked for the next day. The food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. View all feedback.
What Reham A doesn't like about Barbes:
We walked 2 km until we reached the restaurant because it was written that it was open, and when we arrived, they refused to receive us on the pretext that the restaurant does not receive reception until after six o’clock. This is poor organization by the administration, as visitors’ efforts may be wasted upon reaching the front. View all feedback.
The staff are kind, decoration looked lovely, music was calm and very oriental, we were quite excited waiting for the food, however, unfortunately the food quality was very poor, we ordered hummus and mutabal as starters but they were tasteless, there is no way they were prepared in the kitchen, they were poured straight out of a long preserved can.. the main was couscous and Tagine, although tasted ok-ish, but was very salty, the food was pricy compared to the experience, I would not recommend the place for food, maybe just For some Moroccan tea but I have not tried that, I was in a rush to leave and try to forget this unpleasant experience ...
We came to enjoy something different, food was delicious, sweet atmosphere, the female server was lovely and as attentive as she could be, dealing with many orders. The waiter, the male server, or the one who behaves like the owner was behaving peculiar. We watched him take payment from the guests next to us and he tried not to return the females change and she quickly spoke up about it. He then took our payment and did the same thing without asking if we wanted our change back. This is very low class, greedy and leaves behind a sense of disenchantment. It is the guest who decides to leave a tip and how much.
A very beautiful restaurant with wonderful outdoor seating, the food is delicious and the Moroccan tea has a wonderful flavour.
A restaurant that serves delicious Moroccan dishes. I recommend it when visiting this place. The staff are polite and have the principle of telling customers whether the food is halal or haram. Harira is dangerous, do not miss it, and there are all kinds of tagines with them, and the hummus is delicious
Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's birthday with my family and they received us incredibly, we had an exquisite dinner and the attention . If we return to Luzern we will return to this restaurant
