Having declined our hotel's offer of breakfast for CHF40 each which we would not have enjoyed at that price, we had a look around the area and found this place... read more Having declined our hotel's offer of breakfast for CHF40 each which we would not have enjoyed at that price, we had a look around the area and found this place just before the Bahnhof which serves breakfast until 3 pm and more than met our needs.2 eggs sunny side up or scrambled with bacon or ham or cheese slightly extra plus toast , orange juice and coffee : what more do you need to set you up for the day out ?And less than CHF 20 per head.And a very friendly waitress with whom we compared places that we had lived or visited.Too noisy and smokey for us outside but inside was very comfortable..

The server was quite friendly and returned with menus in English. The food came quickly. I enjoyed the salad. The chicken stroganoff was quite salty (a characteristic of every meal we had in Lucerne) and the Spaetzle was a bit dry. Would not return.
