Pricy, but excellent food large portion full of flavor (tagliatelle with mushrooms). A friend had the bouch a la Reine made with half a chicken breast great presentation and flavor. View all feedback.
What Toney Stokes doesn't like about Brasserie Des Jardins:
We had a nice lunch here. The restaurant looks very elegant, the service is polite. However the food just was not really good. I had the “Feierstengszalot” for starter and it was good, but i would not expect anything less for such a small portion for 15.5€. Then i had the suggestion du jour and it was honestly very disappointing. It just tasted neutral, maybe even bland, no interesting flavors. And it cost probably a... View all feedback.
Top restourant, top service, very high level plates and wines. Slightly expensive and no translation of the menu in english but still? 5 stars!!!!!!!!
What a lovely experience! The menu offers diverse options without overwhelming the patrons with choices. The food is well presented and flavorful. The appetizers are too expensive for the portion sizes but the quality of the ingredients is of a high standard. The main courses are copious and reflect seasonal harvests. The best part of the meal was the dessert. Their New York Cheesecake is the real deal, firm, sweet and salty and the crust is of a perfect grainy, buttery graham-cracker like crust. It is a rare find in Europe! Let me not forget the spectacularly charming waiter who served us with great attention and information. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely return!
Restaurant with perfect localtion and lots of parking spots. Waiters are friendly and well-trained. The menu however leaves room for improvement. It is very large and a lot of dishes are relatively similar to each other and some lack creativity, despite the rather upper tier prices. Oftentimes the suggestions of the day are just other variations of similar dishes already on the main menu. Sometimes less is more. A menu with fewer dishes but with a bit more seasonally adapted variety would really give the cuisine a huge leap forward.
Busy Brasserie with a nice and varied set menue and an inspiering set of chef's choices. Had dinner. Nice service.
Michelin guide did not disappoint with this Bib Gourmand recommendation. We will eat here again the next time we are in Luxembourg!
