Service was very poor! children running the place cursing a storm up and disrespecting every customer
The food was delicious, and the restaurant is located in a newly constructed building. It's very clean as well.
The staff at this restaurant seems to lack a focus on customer satisfaction. After I had already paid for my drinks, I was informed that the only option available was water. I had walked over to the drink machine and noticed it only dispensed water. I don't mind drinking water or grabbing beverages from the cooler or even munching on ice—it's not the issue. The problem is that I made my purchase with a clear expectation and was not informed that the machine only offered water.
Nice, newer restaurant with friendly service and delicious, fresh food. We enjoyed a Meal Deal with six-inch subs, chips and a drink. The sandwiches were tasty, the toppings substantial and the dining area was very spacious and quite modern and attractive. I recommend this restaurant.
Not only myself but my husband as well have had the most ungodly experience at this restaurant. Both within a weeks time. The first event: long story short, sandwiches were made wrong thru the app. Checked said sandwiches and parked and went into the store. Both workers were very rude, cussing my husband for a b- $h and telling him he should have ordered a Fn salad, which is an America Soldier Purple Heart disabled veteran. Called Sara Holt at the Highland Home store. The owner, and she said the issue would be resolved and that to come back and the sandwiches would be replaced. I could not go back until tonight to get them. I DO NOT NEED FREE FOOD. Upon arrival at the counter, Wesley, the night manager, was super rude and disrespectful. He didn’t even know what I was there for. Never asked me could he help me or anything. Just threw his hands up like “yea”?!?! So badly that another veteran, about 75 years old, said mam, “it is a race thing and his raising”, he’s angry. Mind you, the veteran was black as well. Wesley, takes it upon himself to call the owners husband, Chris Holt, and puts him on speaker phone to ask about the incident I am speaking of and the sandwiches due to be replaced. Chris says “you remember the big guy that came in the other night and was ugly and loud with the girls”, which is absolutely NOT correct, anywho that is his wife. She was suppose to come the next day and that was last week. But to “get her out of the door and shut her up” remake those sandwiches at no cost.” The ENTIRE time Wesley was making my sandwiches he was rude, throwing food onto the bread. After Wesley finishes the three sandwiches, he puts them in the bag and rudely tells the young lady running the register that “she won’t be paying” for this. As I am waiting for them to hand me my bag, Wesley’s mother comes into the store. He says loudly, “Momma don’t leave until I tell you something. There’s some s&$t going down up in here”! I say all that to say, not only was the initial problem dismissed at apparently no cost, when I returned the rudeness was overwhelming. I have NEVER had my feelings hurt in a public place by a public servant! However, they all have done it at this location. When you own and operate a franchise and your employees are rude or ugly to a customer, and you offer them a refund or replacement, you honor that! You don’t “shut them up and get them out the door”. Nor can you really give them a set time as to which to pickup their replacement that YOU offered. I have a life outside of Subway. I’m am absolutely appalled at these instances. I pay with the same money as the next person and this is experience is AWFUL! I will be turning this location into corporate and I WILL NOT stop until there is a resolve.
