Description

The restaurant offers a varied menu and generally pleasant atmosphere, but experiences seem to vary widely. While some guests praise the excellent service and delicious dishes like the T-Bone steak, others report long wait times and inaccuracies with orders. Staff were frequently noted as friendly and accommodating, yet overwhelmed during peak times, leaving some customers disappointed by the quality of food and the cleanliness of their dining experience. Overall, this establishment has potential but may need to refine its service and food consistency to elevate the dining experience for all patrons.

Well located to get to from Airport Parkway. Good food at a decent price. Bar has a nice outdoor garden, pool table and TVs. Service can be very slow especially at the bar as it feels the restaurant takes priority

Sat in the bar area, fillet steak was alright but side portion was too small, bar area is a bit messy. Pricepoint is ok and staff was friendly, didn’t have to wait too long. Having to order drinks on the bar while your food is sitting on your table isn’t great. Overall ok, nothing special.

We had a couple of drinks in the bar, then a meal in the restaurant upstairs. The whole experience was good. We must mention Scott though, I do believe without him it would have been a very different experience. His bar service was excellent, remaining calm whilst under pressure. He seemed to be doing the work of more than one person. He even appeared in the restaurant whilst delivering our food. The only suggestion I have would be for the Manager to keep an eye on the state of the toilets. No soap in either the ladies or gents between the time we made our booking at 1500 and 1900, that's pretty poor management.

Where to start with the ups and downs of this venue? We booked a table for early evening at 6 PM, and the place was not busy at all. However, the service staff all looked glum and miserable, not a single smile from any of them all evening. I ordered the chicken and ribs combo, and the food was nowhere near the value of the cost. The ribs were overcooked and the smallest I've ever seen in a UK restaurant. The chicken was dry and had an almost fake meat texture. Absolutely shocking quality. The corn on the cob consisted of two small end bits, not even a quarter of a cob between them. The only saving grace was the chips, which were great. My friend had the halloumi burger, which had two small slices precariously balanced on the bun. Seriously, consider other local restaurants instead. This place uses the cheapest ingredients, thrown together with no care, and served by the most miserable staff. But at least the chips were good.
