Wonderful pub and brilliant landlord. Music on Weds in their epic gig room. Large outdoor bit so ideal for dogs. Looks like they have lots of events and stuff on just a shame we live four hours away and are only visiting as we are on the campsite over the road. They don’t serve food but allow you to bring in food from the excellent takeaway place next door. If ever you’re near Banham you need to visit this place. View all feedback.

We were out for a walk and called into this public house for a quick drink before heading back to our hotel. Nice friendly people running this pub. Football game was in full swing when we arrived but got served quickly. Atmosphere was good. Only down side was the general cleanliness of the tables and chairs which looked as though they could do with a good wash or at least a dust. We didn't eat here so cannot comment... Had a quick drink with friends, good beers. Atmosphere is what you make it.
One of THE best places to go for a night out. Brian was wonderful as a host. Just go there for drinks and a bit of food and a brilliant night out
Very nice dog friendly area outside. The barman even brought some water over for my dogo
Very nice atmosphere and chilled area and drinks are all local nice cold beets and ciders and wines I would recommend to anyone if you come to camping in applewoods or near its worth to come and visits
Our favourite local pub! Brian the landlord is just the best
