Arrived in Wittenberg late and found the Goldener Adler convenient for a fast meal. The Goldener Adler is owned by the Brauhaus Wittenberg next door. The food and craft beer are the same. My wild venison stew was O.K. My wife's Wurst soup, meant to...be a meal, was a whole Wurst stuck in a potatoe sludge without flavor. Nice room and sufficient service. very nice inside. only very limited card. but eat at a decent bourgeois level. adapted to the performance at a price.

The restaurant has a classic, petty-bourgeois card that eats is okay, but little original and does not need to refresh, such quality is found everywhere, usually even better. the personal is professional friendly, but welcome you do not feel there. the ambiente is more spitsy, everything seems a little dusty.
The food was excellent. price was a bit high. atmosphere was great. my wife has lived in wittenberg for a few weeks and has visited another restaurant every night. we haven't found a bad restaurant yet, but we're picky where we're going. there are many good restaurants in the luther city wittenberg and this is one of them.
