Compass Tea Room - Luray

Wonderful little tea shop! Many great options, and very helpful and friendly staff. We were here to forget a backpack of a friend a week ago and also escape done torential downpour on our way to visit some caves. We shared a good company and delicious treats while we waited. Tea is great! If you like tea, you will definitely find something or many things to enjoy. The selection of baked goods is delicious; tried the banana bread and the raspberry, would order more if I were in the area. Processing: There were 7 of us and we have all kinds of orders to the lady behind the counter, super chaotic and she took care of everything perfectly!

Every tea I got from here was amazing and delicious! There are also beautiful jewelry made by the owner and tie dye on site. A nifty little spot with absolutely DELICIOUS hot or cold tea! 10/10 recommend, I went back the next day it was so good!

It's worth noting that I'm a coffee guy from the beginning, tea is my wife's thing. That said that's a must when you're in Luray, Virginia. The shop is so sweet and welcoming and has much more to offer than just tea. Lisa was so gracious and had some amazing recommendations based on a few questions she had for us. We were almost 40 minutes there, trying a variety of teas. Lisa's knowledge and excitement about every tea was infectious. I think the favorite was this glorious milk Oolong tea. It was beautiful, especially on a damp autumn day. For vacation we ordered more of this special tea for ourselves and for exchange with some selected friends. So glad we stopped.

I was so excited when I spotted this tea shop while exploring Luray with my husband. The lovely lady who owns the shop was so incredibly kind and informative! She spent so much time talking with me about the various benefits of the different teas! I love the “Golden Glow” tea I got and can’t wait to go back soon!!
