It's a wine cellar so the most fantastic selection by the glass - really knowledgeable staff without pretension. Beautifully cooked food- started with a potato salad - they were room temperature for best flavor and dressed with salmon roe and what looked liked orange zest but infact was dried and compressed salmon roe ( funny Italian name can't remember) drizzle of lemon olive oil and mesclun salad. Next up was slow cooked veal - poitrine is not the easiest cut but it had been marinated in herbs and galic for over 12 hrs. Dominant with mint- v good. Served with confit of aubergine and tiny diced yellow courgettes. Pudding was a lightly whipped marscapone with confit of grapefruit on a bed of marais de bois strawberries that had been slightly softened with sweetened grapefruit juice and some lovely crunchy bits too! Had a wonderful crisp and mineral muscat et sevre white wine - a real lunch time treat that I will definitely visit next time in toulouse and buy some wine too.
