Love this place always good eats, what's the white sauce in the tube though? It doesn't taste like tartar sauce but it's awesome

It is very loud. The food was typical fried fare. The wait staff are very friendly.

I really don’t like seafood, but on occasion, I will eat flounder. I’ve eaten here several times throughout the years And this is so far the best place in Lumberton, North Carolina for the best fish ever. The flounder is all I can vouch for since it is the only seafood I eat, but when I ordered the salt and pepper battered flounder, It is awesome and the best ever. The food is absolutely the best and they have great service and a very peaceful atmosphere to eat. I promise you, you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Village Inn and I will be seeing you again soon, that’s a promise.

I ordered the Deluxe Scallops. There were plenty of Scallops on the plate,but they were so over cooked, and tough, you couldn't even cut them with a fork!!! My cats enjoyed them though.The Hush puppies, fries, and the slaw was good,and our server was nice. But this will be our last time here,back to Pier 41.

This is a wonderful local food joint. It was packed and everyone knew we were from out of town as soon as we walked in. The hush puppies are fantastic. They are sweet and taste like little doughnuts. I ordered the shrimp special which came with cole slaw and fries. There's a kids menu, but my child ended up loving and eating all of my shrimp. It was a great meal. Only open Thursday to Sunday. They accept credit cards.
