I loved the way... read more Fantastic restaurant with outstanding food! The owner, Martin Riley, is a true barbecue master, and our ribeye steaks were cooked to perfection. I loved the way they were grilled over smoky coals. The green beans were flavorful and had a nice crunch—definitely not overcooked. The fried green tomato appetizer was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place for excellent food and great service.

The steaks are hand-cut and grilled over an open fire pit—absolutely delicious! The chicken steak was massive! The bread was perfectly tasty as well. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. This place is a must-visit!

They give away freshly baked cinnamon rolls on Thursdays, they are amazing and free. I do like this restaurant, but I must say that sometimes it can take a while to get your drinks, or to have your order taken, or get some biskets and appetizers. On the menu it was $1 more , so we ordered when we got our bill it seemed high so I looked it over, we were charged $6 each extra for our sides. No simple upgrade charge like every other restaurant Ive ever eaten at does. When I questioned the waitress she said that’s how they charge. We weren’t told of this feel totally ripped off!!! We won’t bother eating there again. What a waste of time money. Lumberton can do better. We try to support local but this is unacceptable in every way. At least let us know maybe give us our regular side that we already paid for plus the expensive upgrade. We are very disappointed in the service there.
