Ihop - Lumberton

I wanted to enjoy a nice dinner after the volunteer with classmates. We had planned to eat for about an hour, but instead it took about 3 hours, as the staff still forgets orders and one of my classmates had not even given their order and had said that what they ordered was only for seniors after all the others had finished their food. The food was great, but the service is just terrible.

The worst IHOP I've ever been. My wife was eating cold grits. Had no onions. Ordnete the land fried steak and instead brought me a steak omelet. Coffee ordered twice and Neverending got it. Two of the staff who walk around and show their pants hanging from their but and underwear. They scream over the room and ask seating questions like they were in a fast grocery store. Terrible dinner. Time and again

We have two different types of crepes. The food was great. The order was to go, and I would have given the five stars except they screwed up my order. It should come with a special butter or sauce I forget, but they gave me sour cream. Definitely a great waste. Accidents happen, and I would still be in favour of taking only food quality, but...,

Don't ask for iced coffee because that is exactly what you will get, a cup of black coffee with ice in it. The grits were lacking in several areas but they were excellent compared to the service Emily provided. She has to be the rudest most unprofessional server I have ever encountered. From laying on the table to take our order to slamming hash browns on the table after my son asked about them because she didn't bring them out originally. Then she never came back to check to see if we needed anything. Even the lady sitting across from us (who was served by the manager) said she had a really bad attitude. I understand being short staffed but if this is the sort of staff you have to settle for then it must be really bad finding help.

The food was delicious as usual, but the service was beyond terrible. They called my name but no one was there to actually seat us. Then they set us and we sat there for 10 minutes and no one came to our table. The girl that sat us walked by and I asked her if we had a waitress. She looked at me so I know she heard me, and she COMPLETELY IGNORED ME! I guess she was taking too the manager behind me, u don't know but she never acknowledged that I spoke to her. Once we got our food our waitress never came back to our table. I had to flag her down for a refill on my drink. The manager stopped by once so I also asked her. I know people are short staffed, but customer service goes a long way.
