She was incredibly helpful when my wife's steak arrived overcooked, and we really appreciated her reaction, especially when she rolled her eyes at the kitchen—it made us like her even more. I asked for a table salsa spicier than the usual options on the menu, which many find too hot. I found it was made from excellent roasted chilies, perfectly balanced with cilantro, onions, and some delightful flavors I couldn’t quite place. If you enjoy hotter salsas, definitely request this one at Del Sol.

I can't understand how placing a simple takeout order directly from the menu, including a straightforward request for hot salsa with the chips, can be so complicated. The young woman who assisted me spoke English better than I do, yet she still got my main dish wrong. When I got home, relaxed with a drink and my chips, I found they had given me canned tomatoes to dip instead of salsa. This is the second time they've messed up an easy takeout order like this.

She rolled her eyes at the kitc... read more The waitress was AWESOME, sadly I don 't remember her name. She was very helpful when my wife 's overcooked steak was delivered. She rolled her eyes at the kitchen. We liked her more. I asked for a table salsa that is much more spicy then the normalstuff. Most gringos say it 's too spicy. I thought it was made from excellent roasted chilies, just the right amount of cilantro,onions, and other delights I couldn 't identify. If you are into hotter salsas, ask for this. My entrée was ceviche, something Iusually love. This one came with cucumbers, something I 've never had before. It turns out that humble ole cucumbers actuallyhave strong flavor when included with shrimp. I managed to pick around the cucumbers and enjoyed the ceviche. Bottom line, mywife probably wouldn 't want to come back. But I wouldn 't mind going again. There are a lot more things on the menu. We ended uptipping the waitress 50%, she was worth it.

Our order was incorrect, and we didn’t notice it until we got home, as they had already closed. Additionally, the beans had a chemical taste. We've dined here before and gave it five stars, but this visit did not meet our expectations at all.
