It 's a trattoria consisting of an entrance hall (with a bar) and a large dining room whose acoustics, when full, leave a bit to be desired. The strong point is the price: if I 'm not mistaken, we spent €25 each for appetizers, a first course, and a second course. The food was decent, the wine simple, but not a headache. The appetizer consisted of a few slices of cured meat (coppa, low-quality cooked ham, salami) and cheese (not bad). The first courses: pasta with pesto, with a very pale and flavorless pesto, good ravioli with ragù sauce, decent baked lasagna. The second courses: meat only, a good veal with tuna sauce or roast. Going to Trattoria Cornua is a bit like going back in time: an '80s trattoria with home-style cooking, more focused on quantity than quantity, but authentic. The staff is a bit cold, but courteous. If I ever pass through those parts, I 'll go back.
Excellent business lunch and great price, and on nice days there's a great panoramic view.
A perfect place to stop for those traveling through the other Liguria, the region of mountains and valleys overlooking the sea. This trattoria serves authentic, home-cooked food, evoking the flavors of a family Sunday. Generous portions and affordable prices (we had the set lunch menu, without wine or dessert). We 'll definitely return to try other dishes from their menu (and perhaps the focaccia, which we were told is only available on Sunday afternoons).
Fantastic, we ate great, everything was excellent, light, plentiful, fair price, friendly and served quickly. Heavenly apple pie
I was pleasantly surprised... being celiac, they gave me the opportunity to eat a lovely plate of gluten-free pasta. Perfectly cooked and delicious pesto. My husband had the mandilli and a delicious Ligurian-style rabbit. Homemade and authentic food. Apple pie and panna cotta (gluten-free). We 'll be back.
