Mariano's Italian Eatery - Luling

Okay, so if you're used to NYC or NJ Pizza, it's not. Get this out of the way. Now that you did this, this place is really good. On this trip we have the loaded cheese sticks, cheese steak pizza and the taste of Italy pizza The cheese sticks were good. Basically like a smaller pizza lined with cheese, bacon and jalapeno with sauce on the side. It was a nice combo and they were crispy. The cheese steak pizza was very good. Huge cake and although the dough is not like the city at all, I still enjoy it. It's not like the difference between NYC Pizza to Chicago or something that's drastic... it's just different. A ton of cheese steak meat and other toppings. The Tasty of Italy also had really good taste. There were a lot of sun-dried tomatoes on this. I know many people who would be thrilled about it, I probably took half of it. Another very good cake. We've been back since then, I'll write an update soon. I have some other things in time.

This was my first time in Mariano's and it won't be my last. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and it was very good, especially for the price. I look forward to tasting your pizza next time!

Personally (everyone is different), I love this place. The appetizers, the exchangeability of the menu, the family owners and the family staff's friends are impressive and sweet. The fact that they all like and love each other their customers is another. Your menu is pretty good! I personally like the cheap drinks that were made to what I asked (I saw) and the meals deserve their own review. Not every single thing is spectacular, but most of all you try is damn good (idk over wings, not a fan of em). Southwestern Wrap/Roll/Pizza is my favorite. The only Con is that they have young waiters who cannot always serve alcohol, but the others who can build more than on it. If you're ever in the area, try Mariano. It will be worth your time or call me a liar here on Google. It's my turn.

Really good pizza. Would rate it as highly as any I have had in North Jersey or Chicagoland.

The food was excellent. I was able to order a salad my husband ordered the calzone. The service was terrific also. The only reason I reduced my rating was because at the time we went it was very loud. Two flag football teams came in to celebrate their final victory of the season! So this is obviously not the fault of the restaurant, just my lousy timing! However, my husband is a deputy and we were meeting for lunch while he was on duty. So the waitress put our order in first realizing he had a time limit. It all worked out great and he gave badges to all the kids, so everyone was happy!
