Reviews - Blake's
Reviews summary
Nestled in a charming, historical building once home to a furniture store and roller rink, this restaurant offers a delightful blend of nostalgia and comfort food. Diners rave about the generous portions and flavorful dishes, particularly the hand-breaded chicken fried steak, which has become a standout favorite. Guests appreciate the friendly service that enhances the warm, small-town atmosphere. While some dishes, like gator bites, might miss the mark, the diverse menu, featuring items such as frog legs and southwest burgers, keeps patrons coming back for more. Overall, it’s a perfect stop for anyone craving a satisfying meal.

The food here is quite good and has a cozy café feel to it. For dinner, I found the prices to be reasonable, around $20–30 per person. I would rate the food a 4 out of 5, while the service was a bit lackluster, earning a 3. The atmosphere is pleasant, also receiving a 4. I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Steak, accompanied by Fried Zucchini and Onion Rings. View all feedback.

Cozy and welcoming feel as soon as you walk in. Wide open dining area with plenty of seating. There is an arcade for kids entertainment. They do have complimentary rolls. My family and I have never had a bad dish here. Their chicken fried steak is delicious. The burgers are juicy. Decent pricing that won't break the bank.
We had a nice experience. College football was on and the vibe was small town comfortable. The dining room is spacious and can handle large groups if necessary. My wings were not crispy and lacked the kick you expect from Buffalo sauce. This was the only negative however. The chicken fried chicken and sides were spot on. Beware: They charge a fee to use a debit or credit card. Not ok IMO.
Fantastic food service today! Our waitress was super sweet, too. Such a nice place to visit while we're in town visiting our dad at PAM. Highly recommend! The zucchini was a favorite!

I had an excellent experience working with Mrs. Susan Ryan, an exceptional Forex trader. I highly recommend her services! With an initial investment of only $1,000 to $1,700, I've been able to earn profits ranging from $10,050 to $15,300 weekly. She is truly outstanding—one of the best in the trading industry. Mrs. Ryan goes above and beyond to ensure her clients are satisfied. If you're interested in her trading services, you can reach her via WhatsApp at +1 (856) 440-3528.

Enjoyed a good home cooked meal on our trip east. Comfort food with good choice of veggies. Chicken fried steak with gravy. Nice batter on fried zucchini. Plenty to share with spouse, too.
I ordered a steak that was quite tough to chew. I know, it sounds strange. However, our waitress was quick to respond and offered to get me something else. I decided to try the chicken fried steak, and it was incredible! The taste, texture, portion size, and price were all perfect. I was too full to finish it, but I would definitely order it again!
The atmosphere is reminiscent of a small Texas town with friendly service. The frog legs were massive and the best I've ever had. However, the gator bites were a bit too salty and tough. I would definitely come back to try more items from the menu.
