The atmosphere is reminiscent of a small Texas town with friendly service. The frog legs were massive and the best I've ever had. However, the gator bites were a bit too salty and tough. I would definitely come back to try more items from the menu.
Our experience at the river was fantastic! Amy provided excellent service during our visit. The southwest burger was both delicious and spicy, which we loved. The crispy waffles were also a highlight! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his chicken fried chicken and potatoes.
I ordered a steak that was quite tough to chew. I know, it sounds strange. However, our waitress was quick to respond and offered to get me something else. I decided to try the chicken fried steak, and it was incredible! The taste, texture, portion size, and price were all perfect. I was too full to finish it, but I would definitely order it again!
