I love cracker barrels. My husband and son love chicken and dumplings and are always happy. I love having breakfast at any time and their service is always friendly and fast. Total service and food. View all feedback.
What Sonja Crumbaker doesn't like about Cracker Barrel Old Country Store:
The food was not anything more than a slightly warm. Couldn't get more than 3 bites before it was cold. The waiter was great though! She was super attentive and just knew when I needed more tea and she checked on us frequently but not too much. She wasperfect! I did not say anything about the food being cold but it was. I'm not one to send food back or to complain. View all feedback.
Eating was good, but the service was very slow. the waiting staff was very friendly.
I arrived a little before 7 and it wasn't busy but still took forever to get a waitress, when we finally put our order in it came out completely wrong! We received our food around 7:45 but I didn't want to send it back and wait however long for the right orders to come, it was just a horrible experience. The service is normally good but I guess I caught them on an off night..
Admittedly, it was late for a meal at 8:30pm. We were seated promptly but then we had to wait for a server... too long since they were not busy and there seemed to be quite a few staff members. Food was disappointing. Meat was tough. This was only our second visit so maybe we'll give it one more try.
I thought it would be a good idea to take myself out for my birthday breakfast what a mistake. Cold gravy, Hard biscuit, Cold hash browns and a super greasy chicken fried hamburger patty. Bad food is made without pride, by cooks who have no pride, and no love. Bad food is made by chefs who are indifferent, or who are trying to be everything to everybody, who are trying to please everyone… Bad food is fake food… food that shows fear and lack of confidence in people's ability to discern or to make decisions about their lives
Pleasantly surprised that all these years of CB dining, I never knew the loaded baked potato was on the menu. It was top shelf. It's my new favorite premium side.
