Found this hidden gem by accident, but will definitely return. The atmosphere is charming, and the food completely delicious from the famous pumpkin mushroom soup to the adult root beer float to finish. I used to frequent Back Burner often, but after today I will not be returning. I placed a to-go order and also made a in-store purchase, but there was an issue with part of my order not being placed in the bag and I had to go back. By the time I got back to work, my sandwich was very soggy. The to-go mgr is apparently on vacation and the customer service of those who were there as well as the manager of the restauran... My wife and I attended a luncheon recently. We had not eaten at The Back Burner in many years. The food was very good. We will need to put this restaurant back on the rotation.
My first time here and everything was excellent. The food was delicious and artfully served. My mom said it was the best creme brûlée she ever had in her life. I loved the decor and high ceilings, it definitely added to the wonderful experience. Our server, Randall, was a delight.
There was an older lady working in the coffee shop who was really mean and unprofessional towards me for no reason. I’ll never come back to this place.
