The staff is friendly and willing to speak with the still learning German. Definitely a place where you can play board games, enjoy a pint (the banana was my going to), and enjoy some really excellent food all vegetarian and vegan foods that I dare not love a meat eater! The flock and basil shop (and the oranges I don't see in the menu) are the BEST. Favorite forever.

After the sign outside it is the oldest permanent pub in the city, but unfortunately... read more Pons is a reasonable little bar/bistro at the edge of the city of Lüneberg. After the sign outside it is the oldest permanent pub in the city, but unfortunately it does not have much charm of the old world. But you have some pretty decent beers and a limited vegetarian menu. There are also a number of sofas around an open fire that would be nice if you can sit there!
