Vischering Castle is a great destination for the whole family. Especially children interested in knights are full at their expense. The castle surrounded by water is very well preserved, including the train bridge. Inside there is a beautifully designed knight exhibition for children. Approval is also very favourable for families.

We were there on weekends and it was really rewarding, great selection of delicious cakes, even defensive little things were offered there! Coffee was also good, highly recommended!

In my opinion, a visit to the castle is always worthwhile, because it is also something very special in the city-rich Münsterland and with its many interiors that are highly recommended for rainy weather.

I went to Münsterland with my wife. We also stopped in front of Lüdinghausen at Vischering Castle. A large parking lot, free to use. Then a short way to the castle, in the museum you will get its ticket and access to the castle and later to the museum. Sooo beautiful. You can really relax here. In the museum I was not yet (I must admit), but the surroundings, the beautiful ruins, the many greens that invite you to a small walk. Also recommended is the bread that can be bought there in the afternoon. Otherwise you can also stay so good and finish a nice day. A trip is worth it.
