Our experience at Fisherman's was good despite bad reviewes that are reported from other contributors. This restaurant is not a luxury place, but is not even ugly. Apart from this, food and service are what we should rate. Well, the delicious salmon steak was perfectly prepared, and the combination with a light gorgonzola sauce was absolutely unexpected but worth to be tested. We enjoed 2 hours here and got some nice food, tomato soup , Bruchetta and snitzel. Nice glass of whitewine and a beer. Absolutely worth the euro 50 incl a great view.
Waited for our food for 40 minutes only to find out our order was never put in. Generally not the end of the world, but the staff didn't even bother to apologize for the inconvenience. When the food finally arrived (pizza) it was soggy and flavorless.
Tha main feature of this restaurant is its location. Otherwise, food quality is medium with quite high price level. One waitress has refused to give us the menu in English, telling that it was not existing. During our dinner, she was not sympathic with us without any reasons.
As some visitors have already written, the place is a classic tourist's trap, just next to the course ship pier. We tried calamari tapas as a starter, to my surprise it was just fried calamari, not grilled as I have expected, and it was just ok, nothing special. Main dish we had both fish with potato and cucumber salad, the quality of the fish was good, but as it was fried again, it was quite greasy to my taste. Our waitress was polite and quick, we didn't wait long to get our order. What bothered us the most was the company sitting next to our table, obviously well known by staff, they were really noisy and disrespectful to the guests around, most of them smoked all the time. I know this could happen anywhere, but these guys seemed to be some VIP chef's or owner's friends with lack of manners and respect to anyone around them.I would not go to this place again.
I've been twice in this place. The first time with family. Food was average but more on the poor side and the service was worse. Everything took a long time. We left with the feeling of not being welcomed. I thought, well, maybe they had a bad day. That happens. So I went back there 1/2 year later. As it was off season the place was totally empty. Some woman stopped me from sitting down. "You have to wait to be seated" she shouted in some real unfriendly German. A bid in shock I asked to sit at the window. She told me that this is not possible and pointed me to a dark corner at the end of the restaurant. I was waiting there for a while, to be served, and after 10 Minutes left. I saw the woman chatting with her colleague on the way out.
