Visiting Second Sight Spirits is like reconnecting with old friends. The tour invites you into their world and the openness of the owners and Aubrey, the bartender, makes you want to stay for a long while. The products are first rate, yet, still at a price point where you can afford to buy extras as gifts for friends and family back home. This is a definite stop on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail! If you are near the metropolis of Ludlow KY you need to stop at Second Sight Spirits, you will not be disappointed. The story of how the got started is entertaining and the handmade equipment is impressive. One of the owners and our tour guide, Carus, is hysterical and a great storyteller. I purchased a bottle of Oak Eye bourbon and it has become my current go to drink. I can’t tell you all the tasting notes, all I can say is it is awesome. Downside is it is almost gone and I live 2.5 hours away. Please start selling in IN. One last thing, don’t forget to take a ride on the toy “car”.?
We have been on tons of distillery tours, and Second Sight is truly a unique tour. The stories, people, and drinks are absolutely excellent. Our whole family, cat included, was welcomed and made to feel at home. This is a hidden gem you must go visit.

Thank you, Carus, for a really fun visit, tour and tasting. The fried chicken recommendation was delicious. We can’t wait to open up our bourbon!
This place is awesome! Located in a cute little town just outside Cincinnati. We did a “tour/tasting”, which was really us talking with one of the owners and getting their story, which was intriguing. We loved it not being a traditional tour. How many times do you need to be told “how” they make bourbon?. This place was super relaxed and very quirky…again, aka unique from the others!! They have a great bar with a fabulous, friendly bartender and a list of really good cocktails. I recommend the espresso martini with their honey infused moonshine. Overall—a really nice stop! Support the smaller distilleries!!
