La Tavernetta - LUCIGNANO

Sadly we couldn’t eat outside as it wasn’t a very nice evening, but that did not spoil our evening. We went as 5 adults a baby and a dog and were really well looked after. The service was great and the food some of the best we have eaten in Lucignano. We will try an go again before we leave

We have been staying in the wonderful village of Lucignano for 7 weeks now and La Tavernetta became one of our favourite and regular dinner venues while here. It is wonderful, even on a rainy night when you have to sit inside the atmosphere is great. A family restaurant with the most amazing food and equally amazing service but try it on a clear night when you can sit out on the terrace and be entertained by the starlings and sunset and it becomes a sophisticated dining experience. The menu runs from perfect pasta to salubrious steaks and the freshest of salads and carpaccio dishes. The two sisters that run the restaurant descend from a long line in the family business, This is just the best and please allow time to spend here.

Our overall experience was outstanding. This is a family run business and they really do care about the guest experience. The pastas were excellent, homemade, with wonderful hearty sauces. I had the stuffed gnocchi that had spinach and ricotta. I actually ordered a second gnocchi and shared with my family. The second courses were all outstanding. Their wine list has some locally sourced vintages from Lucignano which I ordered. You must have the panna cotta with fruit. One of the owners was very friendly and professional when there was an error something we ordered. They went out of their way to make sure that we were satisfied with our meal and the level of service. The views from the terrace are incredible. This was our last night in Tuscany and we couldn't have picked a better place for our last dinner! We highly recommend this restaurant.

Un ambiente semplice e per questo raffinato, un grande servizio con cortesia e accoglienza, e la cucina, una grande cucina fatta di tradizione, esperienza e ancora una volta “semplicità”. per noi che amano brillare una certezza che parte da un'antica tradizione che le due sorelle hanno saputo continuare e rilanciare. Prova.

Abbiamo cenato sulla terrazza nel grazioso villaggio di lucignano. eccellente pappardelle cinghiale così come i gnudi, non molto tenero taglio ma ancora buono. servizio attento e gentile, prezzi corretti
