Luckily, we found Steamymoo... read more After a long day’s drive, we arrived in the evening in a semi-locked down Lucca tired and hungry, with few dining options available. Luckily, we found Steamymood, just outside the city walls and a short hop from the center of town. Our meal was ready for pickup in minutes, and what a treat it was! We had “fregula sarda al pescato” (Sardinian pasta with fish and lentils) and jambalaya (their take on a Cajun classic with two kinds of rice, cabbage, lentils, shrimp and chicken), both dishes hot and spicy and chock full of fresh, healthy ingredients. Even the bottle of chilled, local white was a perfect balance of dry and fruity. The carrot muffin was moist, not sugary sweet, and covered in grilled pumpkin seeds—rustic, simple and light. Paolo was most accommodating and friendly when we called in our order just before the 9pm closing time. The restaurant opened one year ago and has struggled through the hit from Covid. Des... read more I'm passionate about healthy eating, have recently come across this restaurant and I LOVE it. The food is absolutely delicious, super tasty and filling too. Desserts are also awesome. Anyone who wishes to eat out and wants to go for balanced nutritious dishes should give this place a try. Vegetarian options are available. Paolo, the owner, will welcome you with a smile and make the whole experience even more pleasant. Highly recommended.

It 's worth a try as the food is very good. 1 portion is enough for a lunch. We took two portions each for our evening meal and that was more than enough. Price quality is good but I would advise to reduce the price of the 'starters ' with ravioli and gnocchi a little to stay within 20 euro for two dishes a glass of wine and a desert. Maybe a good idea to combine with sous vide meals.
