Service was pretty good general... read more We decided to try here on the night of a Lucca Summer concert, as it had been recommended by an ice cream shop we regularly use. Service was pretty good generally and pizza not bad. What I am concerned about and only realised as I...walked away was that when I asked for the bill (in Italian) the waitress said go inside and say you want to pay for table I didn’t think about it until afterwards but the guy just told me an amount no itemised bill which I think is illegal as potential tax issue. When I added up what we had I worked out that he’d probably added a few euros for the benefit of me being a tourist! This actually really saddened me and as I visit Lucca many times a year a stupid mistake. I won’t be returning. Moral is ask for a proper bill regardless!

We stumbled across Pult when spending the afternoon in Lucca, I was immediately drawn in by the price of the Aperol Spritz at the cheapest I found during our we... read more We stumbled across Pult when spending the afternoon in Lucca, I was immediately drawn in by the price of the Aperol Spritz at the cheapest I found during our week in Italy! We enjoyed drinks, lunch and coffee sat outside in the lovely...sunny court yard. Both food and service were fantastic, and it was one of the more reasonable priced meals we had! We are hoping to come back to Lucca next year, and will certainly be coming back to Pult!
