Pizzeria Itaco - LUCCA

Buzzing little place with good atmosphere. Lovely spot in the to sit and people watch. Excellent pizza and Sicilian salad for a very reasonable price. All served with a smile

This is a very clean and cute place! The pizza was yummy and the tossed salad was delicious. They have an interesting menu-English, too! Our waiter was very kind and attentive. We sat inside and they had nice music playing.

With little time and discouraged by the endless sit-down restaurants up and down the street, I was desperate. The last resort: kebab. No. Immediately before I saw that option on the corner, I saw this place. Delicious pizza, friendly service that takes you away from the touristy atmosphere. I also noticed locals and visitors alike thanking the pizza maker with buona! And it is situated right across from a beautiful church, where I took my slice and Coke and enjoyed the best table in any restaurant. I live in Milan, and there are hundreds of pizza places featuring overpriced slices, awful toppings, no sauce, bread as thick as aged dinner rolls, and weird-tasting cheese. This place offers the opposite in all departments. I was glad I took their card, as next time my wife and I will know right where to get our speedy, unpretentious lunch, then be able to enjoy Lucca. It's not a posh place, but if you look for quick and tasty lunch, I definitely recommend Pizzeria Itaco in Lucca. Very kind service, and delicious pizzas. Even the gluten free pizza tasted lovely.

Excellent pizza, perfect thin crust dough. Great prices and friendly service. Prices are very reasonable. A great place to indulge a passion for pizza, wine and coffee!
