Awesome staff. We always have some issues with eating out due to selective eaters in combination with gourmet foodies. But owner and chef promised to make the menue work even for the picky eater. So much that he actually ate from the meny and loved it. Even ordered the same food twice. But he was nicely guided by staff and trusted their opinion and knowledge. The food and service would not be out of place in any big city Michelin star restaurant. We landed here looking for caccuccio, but ended up enjoying the 7 course tasting menu. Even our American appetites were stretched to the limit by the end of the meal. Whether raw or cooked, risotto or stew, chocolates or tirimasu, even dish was well composed, well executed, and thoroughly enjoyed. A gem of Lucca!
