Fantastic place. Also for tourists they speak English German. If you are very lucky Patrick may have his Ducati parked out front. It's a beautiful bike.
The Gelateria Paciugo is run by two brothers, who are second generation in the ice cream creation trade and see using the very best, genuine ingredients as a mission. All flavors are delicious, so are their cakes and semi freddo. You can taste the fresh fruit, the high quality of the nuts and we like the just right amount of sugar. Talk to them, ask them questions, they 'll be happy to explain the origins of their pistachios, hazelnuts etc, each a Slow Food treasure they grind fresh every day. Not inside the Lucca walls, if you are out on a bicycle, a short ride away from Pz. Napoleone. Perfect for take out for as after dinner treat.
Good ice cream and Ducati passion. That 's right, an excellent artisanal ice cream shop, with parking and a small park in front called della Pace to calmly enjoy the delights of this place. The yogurt and desserts are also good, also available upon reservation. Very friendly staff: we recommend all motorcyclists to stop by, especially Ducatisti, there 's a surprise for you!

The stars are to be good... because for the rest, the owner could make an effort to improve the place and the products... it's not that they are bad, but there is little choice in flavors and then the place is bland... .I'm sorry but there are better ice cream shops in Lucca
