The outdoor dining area is across the road from the main building, and is a nice scenic spot next to a river with a floodlit rail bridge going over it. Dont expect veg on your plate unless its stated in the description. My wife had the veal and that was all she received. A slab of veal with a sliver of lemon. I had the pappadelle with wild boar sauce, which was nice. The staff were very attentive before we ordered, but as soon as we said we didnt want dessert or coffee, and asked for the bill, we never saw them again. We had to ask 3 times for the bill over the course of an hour and in the end had to walk over to the counter to ask again. We were told to go across to the main building to pay. Why they didnt tell us this when we first asked is beyond me! Finally after paying the bill and leaving, it wasnt until we returned home, that we discovered we had been charged for desserts we hadnt had!

We visited Ristorante Erasmo on arrival to Ponte a Moriano since we were too early to check into La Lemonaia, our nearby rental Villa. So happy we did. We ordered only primi but all 5 of us were very happy with our pasta. Gnocchi are light and with al ragu were delicious. We are not fluent in Italian but our server was so nice and helped us with recommendations. We sprung for dolce too and liked all. A very nice staff and dining room has a home like feel. Popular with locals. So happy we tried to get reservations for 14 family that night (booked late via the on line app but recommend you call instead). They could only take 10 but Lorenzo went out of his way to set table for all 14. Ask for Lorenzo when calling for reservations. Ample additional parking lot behind the building.
