In fact we went back there twice because it was the perfect spot to decompress after a busy day and before dinner.

The square turns into a... read more This is a fairly small bar but is the place to drink Italian craft beers in Lucca. It's set in a small square with a wine bar opposite. The square turns into a drinkers corner even at 6pm on a Tuesday, with locals drinking out in the square. My wife was able to buy wine from the wine bar and bring it over to sit with me in the beer bar. They have 4 draft lines from breweries such as Elav Rurale. They were also doing a special on Brewfist bottles when I was there. The drafts and Brewfists were 3 euros each for a 400ml glass /330ml bottle. Very good value. The service was very friendly helpful. The also have a beer shop on Via Fillungo 92 for you to buy quality beers to take home with you.
