Refreshments are top notch but the place is just your typical local halo-halo place so don 't expect pic worthy backgrounds. Go for the halo-halo, not for the pics View all feedback.
What Neil The Backpack A doesn't like about Salud's Refreshments:
My cousins and I were directed here by the lady selling Pancit Habhab near the church. She said this place sells the best halo-halo. Upon reaching Salud's I had to pay 50 pesos for a small cup of halo-halo... I was actually expecting the halo-galo in glass as seen in the Local Guides photos... It broke my heart a bit but after tasting it... Well it completed our food trip in Lucban. The quality is not bad but the qua... View all feedback.
This place is an excellent choice for refreshments in the heart of old town Lucban. They serve halo-halo, halo con mais, and mais con yelo, with prices between PHP 45 and PHP 60. What makes it even better is that these delicious treats are available throughout the year. I love the nostalgic atmosphere of this refreshment stand. Just a tip: it can get pretty busy during the Pahiyas festival.
This restaurant evokes wonderful memories from my childhood, even though it’s not in my hometown. It has a warm, inviting atmosphere that's both cozy and welcoming. While the decor might seem slightly outdated, the service is sincere and the staff is incredibly friendly. Their halo halo is truly exceptional, and you simply must try the maiz con hielo as well. Enjoying both together will definitely not disappoint! They offer a delightful combination of halo halo and maiz con hielo that is absolutely worth tasting. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering this is the best dessert I've ever had—no exaggeration! The only downside is that access can be tricky due to narrow streets and limited parking. However, the journey there is charming and pleasant. I will undoubtedly return to this lovely place, and I'm giving it a well-deserved 5 stars!
My cousins and I were directed to this restaurant by a woman selling Pancit Habhab near the church, who insisted that they serve the best halo-halo in the area. When we arrived at Salud's, I was taken aback to find out that a small cup of halo-halo cost 50 pesos. I had expected it to be served in a glass, as shown in the photos from Local Guides, so I felt a bit disappointed at first. However, once I took a bite, I realized it brought a unique charm to our culinary adventure in Lucban. The quality was good, but I believe that quantity and presentation are also important factors to consider.
This is a classic halo halo, and at only 60 pesos, it's an amazing deal. If you're looking for a nostalgic experience, this is definitely the spot to visit. However, I found it a little too sweet for my liking.
The drinks at this place are exceptional, but don't anticipate anything fancy from this traditional local halo-halo shop. It's not really a venue for Instagrammable settings. Come for the delicious halo-halo, not for the photo opportunities!
