So we picked the group menu for six with mixed pancit, fried calamari, bangus belly sinigang and lechon kawali and we're all surprised with the huge serving sizes of everything. Despite the lightning outside, our appetite was not affected at all. We finished everything!! This place is a keeper View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maxine By The Sea:
Great location, but do not expect fresh seafood. I ordered the shrimp sampling as I was told Squid was frozen. I think the shrimps were frozen. Paid over 1000 pesos for two sodas, rice an overpriced shake and the Sampi. I'm starting to think they accused me of the receipt I canceled. Anyway, there are not many restaurants near Lucap Wharf and unfortunately this is one of them. View all feedback.
A seafood restaurant situated near a wharf with a dining area extending over the water and they run out of fish? Not once but twice! There are very few options in Lucap which is the only way this place stays in business. Service is slow, food quality is moderate at best and the staff offer minimal politeness out of duty, not sincere at all. The menu is very limited to begin with, and when they are out of fish your choices are drastically reduced. Caters to local filipino customers, so there is no reason a western tourist should waste time and money here. The food offered is quite simplistic. Nothing included with the meal and there is almost nothing to order in the way of side dishes. I ordered Tampura Shrimp; 8 pieces of small shrimp and a tiny bowl of soy sauce. Cucumbe rsalad was a plate of cucumber slices and a small bowl of vinegar. Alaminos must really be lacking in restaurants if this joint is #1. Gave them two chances and was disappointed both timed.

Watching the lighting and life on the sea go past whilst eating awesome fresh food . Fans to keep cool and table that juts out over the water made it a brilliant evening
Really the only choice in town but a good one. Excellent crispy pata and calamari also the vegetables were good. Cheap beer and interested staff, it was a nice night out. Food a little pricey but worth it.
Great selection of food but the service is quite slow (might be because of the number of guests that night) great ambiance and good venue
