What Junior Ongige doesn't like about The North Star Restaurant:
After a long and exhausting shift, I decided to order the clubhouse sandwich at this restaurant. Unfortunately, as I took a bite, I heard a crack and experienced a sharp pain in my mouth. It turns out that the bacon in the sandwich was extremely hard and it ended up cracking my tooth! I endured two weeks of not being able to eat properly on one side of my mouth before finally booking an emergency dentist appointment.... View all feedback.
It's been a family tradition of ours for years to come out here for weekend breakfasts or brunches.
When you're driving through farmlands, you don't have too many choices of where to dine.
Went here for breakfast, there was 3 of us they messed up 2 of the 3 orders. The food was under seasoned so much butter on the toast tou could squeeze it out.
Entrees were fantastic, the best Greek salad we've ever had. However, the prices are a bit steep. An entree was around the $25 mark, and although the portions are huge it makes going here frequently difficult. Smaller portions and lower prices would be nice. But, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys good food and is very hungry.
This restaurant is convenient for us when we go to visit our daughter and her family in Waterloo. We invariably have breakfast. Though a bit pricey the food is good and service is quick and attentive.
