Overall, it did not quite reach the level of a third wave coffee shop.

They were friendly and were open even when it's not tourist season. The owner was lovely and made us feel as welcome as guests in her home. She offered us some free samples of caramels too. She makes homemade sandwiches that looked delicious, but we'd just had lunch so we didn't eat them.I will definitely go back and when I have guests from away, I'll be glad to take them there. I highly recommend Narrow Escape.
