What Andrew DePolter doesn't like about Cohill's Pub:
Being from Eagles county I wanted to go in for drinks. Unfortunately they closed the bar for the season due to lack of help. I offered to do dishes but the owner declined. Maybe next year. View all feedback.
Great ambience, excellent drinks and good food. We plan on eating here again. Found the owner and staff o be very accommodating.
I want to give the restaurant another chance and up the stars but they were under staffed likely due to COVID. So I never got a water and my food came out before the cocktail. The jambalaya was also watery and OK. Would not recommend it. The salmon looked amazing though!
Very pleased with the room and the service. The rooms are very cleanRooms: Very cleanFood drinks: Very good selection of drinks and food
Ate at the pub (did not stay at the inn) and it was fantastic! The chicken and waffle with polenta was one of the best I’ve ever eaten, wine was good, service was friendly, the feel is cozy, and the view is incredible. Drinks from the bar were high quality and delicious. Totally worth a visit if in the area.Service: 5/5
We stopped in for dinner and drinks and it was exceptional. I had an Old Fashioned and I have to say, it might have been the best one I've ever had. (And, friends, let me tell you, I hail from bourbon country, so I am careful when it comes to lavishing praise on a bourbon drink. This one deserves praise. Our appetizer lived up to its name as it was appetizing and our main course—the chicken and waffle—was a perfect blend of sweet and savory. I especially liked that the chicken was not breaded and fried. The bed of cheesy polenta, bacon garnish, and maple balsamic syrup sent this dish to the next level. The service was friendly and efficient, especially for this part of Maine where staffing is always scarce. You'd be hard pressed to have a better view while enjoying a meal in Lubec.
