We got the last 9 pumpkin empanadas and all but 2 tasted chalky, we took one bite of each and threw them away. The 2 that actually tasted like normal pumpkin, only had a dollop of pumpkin so it was mostly bread anyway.We’ve been to this bakery many times and have never had bad tasting empanadas before. The hand made Mexicans sweet bread (concha's) are always amazing
Go early for bigger selection .for all their pastries. All are delicious
I never knew that this place was in Lubbock how sweet. We did taco night for the party, I thought this would be a great place to get Mexican wedding cookies They were really delicious and fresh. I called ahead because it was Cinco de Mayo weekend and they had saved two dozen for us. So very sweet. The bakery was clean and they had plenty of delicious breads and desserts.
Great selection of sweet breads, candies, spices, and chiles. Prices are fair. Tres Leches Cake is the best in town.
Very friendly place, clean, and smells great when you walk through the door.
