So good. We always show up with a big group of 10-15 people on Sundays, but even though the restaurant is busy the service is great and fast. Definitely some of the best sandwiches in town. Get the chicken club! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mcalister's Deli:
It might have been the time of day, but there were five employees behind the counter and four customers were being ignored. When we left, the front counter was piled high with dirty dishes. The employees appeared to be unoccupied, and no one seemed to be taking responsibility for the situation. View all feedback.
The food was really good. The service was really bad though. Lots of young people who didn't know what they where doing. The worst part was the price! Yikes! There super proud of there food! I think I would rather go eat someplace nice like cookes garage
I placed an order on line and picked it up 40 min later. I arrived and they told me they didn?t have a sandwich we ordered. That was a little annoying but I ordered a different sandwich and watched as they served everyone that walked in after me, including an entire to go order. I asked to speak to the manager who was the cook. He had long curly hair with a beard and wore no hair net. He reluctantly came out and sheepishly asked, ?Can I help you?? I reiterated the experience and told him it was completely unacceptable! He said there was a communication issue and they didn?t hear him say he needed the sandwich. No apology, no, ?How can I make this right? Just an excuse. McAllisters train your leadership in basic customer service. There should have been some type of compensation offered. Needless to say, we will NOT be going back. It?s a shame because the food is good. This is a perfect example of how a lack of basic food safety and customer service training can really cost a company!
Well I don't really like to leave bad reviews, but don't really have a choice, the sandwich itself was good, but the hair that I found in it, was very disappointing. I had found a piece took it out and said things happen, then I found more and it was with the bacon deep in my sandwich. This was my first time trying McAlister's and I know things happen, but if I found that much hair in my sandwich, I can only imagine the others.. The staff was nice, food was good the part I did get to eat, just very disappointing I wanted to Like McAlister's

Just as a note: I visited a different branch on 82nd Street, and the bowl was perfectly shaped, held the soup well, and the bread was fresh and soft. I might have to make the longer drive to that location from now on.
