The waitress was very friendly, she answered all my questions and when i told her to explain to me what blood sausage is , she went to the kitchen and brought me one. There is wi-fi, just ask for the passcode. The restaurant is decorated as a pirate ship, there is also a bowling section. We sat next to the window so we can enjoy the view of the spree. The food was good. It is not the best food in Germany, but in Lubb... View all feedback.
What Darron Hirthe doesn't like about Flaggschiff - Das Erlebnisrestaurant:
They were out of strawberries for the asparagus salad and flat out refused to make a variation. The baked potato I ordered was cut up boiled potatoes in aluminum foil with a tasteless glob of spinach and fried onions (which were the only good part)....The salad was iceberg lettuce and corn with almost no dressing. The other dishes we got were ok . I will n vet go here again. View all feedback.
Bad service, good location. we ordered medaillons and fish. the preview of the plate was ridiculous. veggies and meat seemed so innocuous and clumsy to be thrown over the plate that it took a second to lose our appetit. if they want to drink. a beer and enjoy the landscape of the beautiful spreewald go for it, but eating is not recommended.
After a long day of kajaks through the spreewald, decided to dinner in the flagship. it was a nice sunny day and it was quite busy, but nevertheless managed to get a nice river table with a perfect view of the Kahn boats. prime location. the food was good. as a relatiw new after Germany, I asked the waiter on a recommendation on something typical and he beat the hearty smoked swarm with fresh original spreewald sour kraut and hearty gravy, with thymian roasted kartoffels. eating was good, service a little slow.
This is where to eat on a warm and sunny summer day in Lübben. After a long walk through the Spreewald, we sat down at a river-side table with a perfect view of the Kahn-boats. The white wine was cold and refreshing, the Gurkenteller mit...wurst was delicious and the Spreewald-bitter was the perfect finish. After enjoying all this, while watching the Kahnfahrten come and go, we happily walked to the railway station, buying some jars with Spreewaldgurken on the way. A perfect day.
We had lunch at this spot while cycling through this town ... The locals were eating there so we give it a try enjoying the goulash and a couple of beer. I was expecting the sort of goulash I had growing up in Canada with...ground beef and noodles but the German goulash was more like a rich dark Irish stew and it was exceptional. Other friends had bratwurst and another a fish sandwich and all of the meals were excellent and affordable. Would highly recommend.
