Was User at Wherry a mag?
I noticed that the last review of the wherry was in 2017, so I thought I would put in an update. they still do the Vegan dart, it was really good and there was a lot of fun between which you could choose and the filling was really nice. if there were vegan dessert, I would give it five stars! What User dislikes about Wherry:
I was told that the only option was a spicy bean and sweet and secured it and the accompanying gravur were vegan. the baked was hard as nails, and there was a bean in the slightly seasoned ratatouille-tart. I made the mistake of pouring the grue on my food before I taste it. big mistake as it was bad. tasteless flour and gravy browns. in this day and age, it is pathetic that they offer so little for vegans. Yes, we can go somewhere else, but sometimes we want to dine with our meat-eating family. my family was appalled by my meal and we will not go back there.

The nutrious at the carvers is not vegan contains egg.

We went to the wherry yesterday than in the opposite, how happy cow reviews recommended and there is little other to choose from here. we asked ourselves at the bar and the staff went helpful to ask in the kitchen over vegan options. we have been offered a veggie tea or vegan burger/patty and we have opted for the veggie tea. we waited 15 minutes for a table and spent another 15 minutes waiting at the carvery. when we arrived to our veggie tart from the carvery we were told that they ordered the burger for us because the veggie tart milk in the pastry. I know it was recommended here so I wanted to warn that the only vegan option is the burger that comes with a vegan gravy. the veg was beautiful (just avoid the maic both carrot-sweet and cartoffel yorkshire puddings, and the gravy they offer a vegan) and the burger was more like a small piece of nut dust. they have a nut-loaf that contains ice, so make sure they ask for the vegan burger. it was quite depressing that you had to run slowly past the meat in the cave, as the wait was very long and slow, but it was Sunday and the place is very popular with carnivores. there are no dessert options apart from simple obstsalat. I thought £10.95 for a small burger and some sweet with heavyweight was quite a lot to pay as we were charged the standard carvery price. I feel that vegans at such a place never have priority. if they are in the opposite and short on options, they should not make up for a long time near to large amounts of meat, and are happy to have only one option to choose, this is the place to go. we probably wouldn't go back soon.

I was very sceptical of this place given the bad reviews, but decided to give it a go, as there was nothing else in the area open at the time (seems to be other vegan places but their hours are terrible . I came prepared knowing the staff may not be well versed in what was and wasn 't vegan. One guy said the nut roast was vegan and having read reviews here I questioned it and was then told it wasn 't. A manager went to the kitchen to check and said the tart was vegan and that the veg was cooked in oil or boiled, other than the parsnip which had some honey on it, which is always a good sign when they know honey isn 't vegan : They had two vegan options on the menu, a burger and a pasta bake, but we went for the carvery option instead which was less than £11 each. My gf just put some veg on the same plate as her pie when there were additional bigger plates for the veg to go with the pie, so We filled up two of those. The food was nothing great, but it was a big portion of cheap, warm, prepared and relatively healthy calories. Definitely not somewhere I 'd bring anyone to show off what vegan food can taste like, or not somewhere I 'd go to have a delicious meal, but when you 're hungry and in need of some veg that 's not drowning in oil and salt, then it 's a pretty good option. Just make sure you get them to double check with the kitchen. I just hope everything we had was definitely vegan, but they seemed competent enough to have confidence it was :

I was told the only option was a spicy bean and vegetable tart and assured it and the accompanying gravy were vegan. The pastry was hard as nails, and there was one bean in the mildly spiced ratatouille tart. I made the mistake of pouring the gravy onto my food before tasting it. Big mistake as it was dire. Tasteless flour and gravy browning. In this day and age, it is pathetic that they offer so little for vegans. Yes, we can go elsewhere but sometimes we want to dine with our meat-eating family. My family were horrified by my meal and we won't be going there again.
