Green Turtle Inn

The restaurant gets busy, and for good reason! They have a great brunch on Saturday and Sunday. I've tried they chicken and waffles- the chicken was thinly breaded (in a good way) and the meat was juicy. They have Dessertle for those with a sweet tooth. The dessert menu is one of a kind in the area!

I had my best steak at Green turtle, definitely a go to when in Islamorada

Great place for breakfast or dinner. Top quality food across the board. Love the local salt scrub in the restroom. Eggs cooked perfectly, fish seared to perfection as well. The Nest next door is a nice bar and the fly tackle shop is amazing.

I left this place feeling confused is it a seafood place? Steak? It seems to want to be upscale but just doesn’t quite make the mark maybe? Idk. Our server came to table w the electronic handheld and just stood there w no greeting for a minute not even eye contact. I do appreciate a few gluten free offerings on menu, one being the ceasar w chicken add on which I ordered. Chicken disappointingly was rubbery. Husband liked the pan seared grouper. Drinks were never refilled. We were not checked on. Music a bit too loud ranging from Madonna to jazz again, i dont get it. Server comes to table to retrieve plates and makes a judgey face towards mine bc i hadn’t eaten much, I guess. Table seating was strange against a wall , one of us in uncomfortable hard wicker chair and the other in the booth running along the wall. No dessert offered. I thanked my server as we left and she replied w a “you’re welcome”. Lol. I miss the way it used to be friendly, great menu and attentive staff. Probably would not recommend. Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free choices clearly marked mainly of the salad variety.

Best shrimp and grits I've had in my life!! This is a MUST go to spot if you are in islandmorada! Angela was amazing! We will definitely be back tomorrow.
