These are very good sandwiches and they ain't little. I didn't think I'd like ketchup on it but now I see why this is a thing back East. I had it with the spicy fries... I can do these once a week. View all feedback.
What Henry U doesn't like about The Hungry Gnomad:
They either should honor their days and hours of operation or change their posted days and hours. I went there four times during the last week on days and in times they have posted they are open and one time the cart was entirely gone and the other three, again within their posted hours of operation, they were locked up. Four wasted trips/drives there! View all feedback.
Excellent pork and fries! A must have and now one of our favorite carts!

It has been years since I have been back to Iowa, but I remember having tenderloin sandwiches. My dad would make them from time to time as well, breaded in cracker crumbs. Having one from The Hungry Gnomad took me right back to those memories. The wife and I split one this time, but next time I am not sharing.
Super yummy, just like the ones in Iowa if not better! She's starting to try new, fun variations and I've loved them so far
