Cowpoke Cafe - Lovelock

Under new ownership, this restaurant serves the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. The meat was perfectly shredded and seasoned, with a delicious sauce. The portion size was generous and all for just $10. Definitely worth every penny!

We visited this restaurant for lunch and were not impressed. The pulled pork sandwiches were made with cubes instead of shredded meat, and the soupy slaw made the sandwich turn to mush. Despite this, we decided to give them another chance as they were part of an event we were attending that day. The next day, we tried their breakfast buffet but were disappointed again. The biscuits were hard and dry, the sausage was burnt, and the scrambled eggs lacked flavor. The fried potatoes were good, but the green pepper and onion were still crunchy. While I am not trying to harm their business, I hope this feedback can help them improve. On a positive note, the place was very clean and the staff were friendly and attentive.

I don't write to hurt her business, but I hope there are areas they work on. Place was very clean and staff was very friendly and attentive.
