Hogfish Seafood Smokehouse - Loveland

My husband and I stopped in out of curiosity, and decided we?ll be back. I know Colorado is landlocked, but the Mahi-Mahi was flaky and moist and the veggies were cooked crisp and delicious! Husband got a Bronco Burger and somehow managed to eat thewhole thing before I got a picture. I got the grilled mahi and would definitely come back for some blackened or fried seafoodoptions. There are several other items on the menu that don?t involve seafood, so we?ll be wanting to try the ribs as well!

We discovered this fantastic restaurant by chance and it's a hidden gem! The BBQ here is amazing - so good that we couldn't resist digging in before taking a photo. My husband raves about the ribs and red potato salad, while I can't get enough of their delicious pork sandwiches.

I am giving this restaurant a high rating right off the bat because I have been here twice in one week. The atmosphere is relaxed and, without access to a beach, this is the next best thing, especially on hot days. The chips are exceptional and the queso and brisket are in a league of their own. Unfortunately, I don't have photos because my wife and I devoured them immediately. The drinks are good, and I always opt for a Moscow mule. I've heard that their slaw is good, but I personally don't like dry slaw, so no points deducted there. However, they do earn points for their amazing rice, as I have a bit of an obsession with rice. The daiquiris here are fantastic, even though I'm not much of a drinker. The ribs are seasoned with a Tennessee rub, smoky and perfect for leftovers. The portions are generous for the price, so if it seems like a lot, it's because you get a lot. They also make an outstanding burger and I'm surprised they haven't won an award for it. The food is fresh, so fresh that I have burned my mouth on it twice now due to the high temperatures – a pleasant surprise. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My wife ordered a filthy martini, and for those still reading this, I appreciate you. This restaurant is a strong contender for best martinis, rivaling Buffalo Wild Wings in Longmont. According to my wife, they are on the same level in terms of taste. Stay tuned for more ratings, as Loveland's Hogfish may just take the title for best martinis in the city.

This place was amazing! I tried the fish and chips, hush puppies, and margaritas for the first time while dining with friends. Our server, Deja, was wonderful and made sure our drinks were always full. I highly recommend this restaurant, as you can tell the owner is passionate about providing quality food and service.

This is a nice place with good food and amazing service. It has a great variety of choices on the menu.
